Single turn on inside foot

Balance on little-toe edge

  • Gentle hill
  • Skate to comfortable speed; glide straight on both feet
  • Lift outside foot (here, his right)
  • Very gradually, tip stance foot (here, his left) toward little-toe edge
  • Also, tip free foot toward its big-toe edge ("anti-phantom")
  • Keep stance foot tipped through the turn
