 Props Towel
Weight (3-5 lb)
Block of wood, 4-6 inches thick
Ski boots
Slippery surface
V.1. Lay out a towel on a slippery surface. Place a weight on one end, then stand at the other end wearing sneakers. With the foot closest to the weight (your free foot), reach out over the towel. Place the free foot approximately 1 ft. away. Maintaining balance on the stance foot, use the arch of the free foot to pull the weight toward the stance foot by bunching up the towel. As you pull the free foot in close, roll it and grip the towel with its little toe edge. The sole of the free foot will face inward toward the stance foot. Continue (reach out, pull in and roll) for the length of the towel. Repeat with the opposite foot.
V.2. Same as V.1., but minimize the step to the side. Instead, emphasize the foot roll to draw in the towel.
V.3. Same as V.1., but with ski boots on.
V.4. Same as V.2., but with ski boots on.
V.5-6. Same as V.1-2., but stand on the block of wood.
V.7-8. Same as V.3-4., but stand on block of wood.
