Alignment - setting the angle of the boot to the ground - is the final step in tailoring your equipment to you. The footbed is first, supporting the feet and permitting articulation. The boot is the second step - choosing one that fits and functions well. Next is boot fitting, and making changes to the boot to permit proper use of the feet. Then comes aligning the cuffs (if possible). Last is changing the angles of the boots to the ground. Traditionally this was done with angled strips under the bindings, or planing the boot soles. We offer several means of alignment. |
