What happens when you try to make short, linked turns on groomed, advanced (blue-black) terrain?

1. I can control my speed in short turns. My pole is always ready for the pole plant, without swinging my arms a lot.

2. I can control my speed in short turns. Sometimes I plant my poles, and other times my poles don't seem to keep up with the rhythm of my feet. My hands are often by my sides when I ski.

3. I tend to pick up speed when I try to link short turns. I have to "hit the brakes" or use a longer turn to slow down.
