  • The spread of PMTS Direct Parallel technique continues, nationally and worldwide. We have three newly accredited instructors in Europe, and another who has reached the Blue level. Congratulations to Dirk Gryspeerd (Belgium), Guus and Jasper Heinsius (Netherlands), and Zoltan Kiss (Hungary). Congratulations to Horst Schmidt of Snow Trails, OH, on reaching the Green level. You can find their contact information from our accredited instructor listing.
  • We will be having a Midwest Footbed/Alignment/Harb Carver tour in October. We'll be in Maidson, WI, 15-16 October. If there's enough interest, we'll book a session in Minneapolis, as well. Click here for current details.

  • Wow - we've had a terrific and really busy winter. It's not over yet, though. We have some of the best skiing of the year right now, with recent snow and wintry weather.
  • We still have a few openings in the March 24-26 All-Mountain Camp session. The conditions should be wonderful. Send in your enrollment form soon!
  • We still have a few openings in the Hintertux camp, but it's almost full. Don't delay if you're thinking about attending.
  • We have plenty of openings in our June 9-12 Race Camp at Timberline Lodge, Oregon.
  • Are you interested in Instructor Accreditation? We have two accreditation events this season: April 15-17 (Th-Su) at Arapahoe Basin, Colorado, and May 3-6 (Tu-Fr) at Hintertux, Austria. Important: we need to achieve minimum enrollment for the A-Basin event. If you are thinking about attending, please send in your enrollment forms ASAP.   • All camp details (lodging info, lift prices, etc.) are updated for the coming season. From the camp overview, you can click on the menu bar or the individual links to read all the details.
  • Our camps are filling up rapidly. If you are thinking about coming to a camp, please send in your enrollment forms soon!
  • We are headed back to Mt Hood, and will be out of the office through mid-August. We will not be shipping book & video orders during that time. We will be confirming campers, and confirming receipt of your orders during that time.
  • We are still processing our e-mail backload, and should be finished with all messages by next week. Thank you for your patience!

  • We are back in the office (at least until early August)! Please call if you'd like to schedule an appointment at our alignment center.
  • Camp details will be complete this coming week (lodging, lift prices, etc.)
  • IMPORTANT! In an effort to reduce the enormous quantities of spam that we receive daily, we are eliminating the "info@harbskisystems.com" e-mail address. All e-mail should now be addressed to "ask.us@harbskisystems.com".
  • VERY IMPORTANT!! In our spam reduction efforts, we inadvertently filtered out real e-mail messages, starting in May. We are now sifting through the filtered messages to find the real ones. If you sent a message and didn't hear back from us, please resend it to the new "ask.us" address.

  • There is one schedule change, for the March All-Mountain camp at Arapahoe Basin. It is now scheduled 24-26 March, 2005, with the footbed pre-day on 23 March.
  • We are headed to Mt Hood for the rest of June. You can call our regular office phone number to reach us. Faxes will be transmitted to us on a weekly basis. You can order any books, videos, DVD's etc. - we will be processing orders and shipping regularly.

  • The 2004-2005 camp schedule is posted. As of now, the schedule and camp prices are correct. Other camp details (lift ticket prices, lodging, etc) HAVE NOT been updated. Full camp detail updates will be posted by the end of May.
  • We are headed to Austria. If you call us or send us a fax or e-mail, we will not reply until we return on May 24.
  • We will begin shipping Harb Carvers when we return from Austria. Get your orders in soon!

  • Wow! It's already summer! The 2002-2003 season was wonderful. Our camps were popular, our Skier Alignment Center ran at capacity, and we have many happy new and returning customers.

September 29, 2002...

  • We'll be opening a new Harb Skier Alignment Center in Downieville, CO, this season. We'll offer footbeds, alignment services, a ski deck for indoor lessons and alignment verification, and a retail shop. Read all about it...
  • We still have places available in our Harb Skier Alignment Technician training session beginning October 21 in Colorado at the new Alignment center. For details call 303-567-0679.
  • Harald has signed on as one of the founding editors for "Tech Support for Skiers". More information and how to sign up for this new "Inside Tracks" type magazine, click here: http://www.ts2003.com
  • Harb Ski Systems is the exclusive footbed designer and alignment consultant for the Sugar Bowl Ski Team (CA). Harald and Diana worked this summer with Head Coach Hermann Goellner to make footbeds and alignment for the Women's Team. These are very talented skiers, rated high nationally in their age groups. One of the older women on the squad, Katie Hitchcock, is now on the US Development Team. Hermann is a longtime friend of Harald's and a former US Ski Team Head Coach. In November, we'll be working with the Men's Team at our new shop.
  • We have many upgrades and additions to our site, some of which are still under construction. You can read about the equipment we'll be using this coming season and the equipment we'll sell at our new alignment center. More gear graphics will come soon.
  • Harald will be writing various letters and articles this winter. Read the first...

  • We have added two camps (Race and All-Mountain) in March, at Kicking Horse Resort, British Columbia, Canada. Come ski with us at this fabulous mountain!
  • Harb Ski Systems services available in Canada and Australia! The "Direct Parallel Ski School" at Kicking Horse is now offering camps, individual sessions, and alignment services. It will offer these programs during the Southern Winter at Perisher Blue and Mt. Buller, Australia.
  • We have more alignment technicians listed. They have attended our training course, and most are PMTS accredited instructors as well.

  • We are full swing in winter mode! The snow is great, and we're often on-snow with skiers, so we may be slow in replying to e-mail.

  • We have cancelled the midwinter camp in Morzine due to insufficient enrollment. Please join us in Hintertux, Austria, in May for a fun and instructive European ski camp.

  • This summer, Harald Harb signed a multi-book publishing deal with Hatherleigh Press. We are well on our way to finishing Anyone can be an Expert Skier II, the follow-up book and video to our best selling first version. We are very excited about this new deal, and we look forward to bringing more books and videos to more skiers through a greater variety of distribution channels. Our ordering process will change soon, as they will be handling our direct orders as well. The "order information" page will clearly indicate how to order our publications through Hatherleigh.
  • We have a new link to Skiing Magazine online. They'll be featuring Harald's "Private Lesson" articles online this season.

  • Our top-level navigation bar is being changed to make it easier to navigate our site. The maroon bar you see on this page (company, news, etc.) is the new bar. It takes you to the main topics of our site, under which are further pages (and further navigation bars). Steadily, the new bar will replace the old in all pages. We have around 120 pages in this site to change, so give us time!
