Harb Ski Systems presented two scientific papers at the 2nd International Congress on Skiing and Science. The Congress, held January, 2000, in St. Christophe, Austria, brought together researchers from around the world to present their results. Research topics are related to the Biomechanical, Coaching, Fitness Training, Physiological, Psychological, and Sociological aspects of nordic and alpine skiing and snowboarding.

Harb Ski Systems submitted two papers, both of which were accepted by the Scientific Review Committee (click the title to read the abstract):

"The Primary Movements Teaching System" by Harald Harb, Diana Rogers, and Robert Hintermeister, discussing the results of students learning skiing with the Primary Movements Teaching System™.

"Improved Skiing Performance through Alignment and Equipment Optimization" by Harald Harb, Diana Rogers, and Robert Hintermeister, discussing the results of skiers who take a session in the Harb Skier Alignment System™.

Harald Harb and Robert Hintermeister presented the papers; in addition, they offered on-snow sessions in which congress attendees could experience both the teaching and alignment systems.

Both presentations were well received, and Harb Ski Systems looks forward to attending the next ICSS with more research results.
