1971 FIS racers

Started skiing at 3 years old, began teaching at 15, north of Montreal in the Laurentians. . Started my racing career at 16 yrs old, became double medalist at Canadian National Junior Championships, at 18 years old. Raced in my first World Cup race at 18, in 1968. Skied for Canada until 1971. Won Overall Eastern Regional US Pro championships in 1973.
Head Coach Stratton Mt School 1975 to 1979. Director and Founder Mt Washington Valley Educational Foundation, 1982.
Director in Alaska, Alyeska Race Program and Alpine Alaska Program 1986 to 1992.
Member US National Demonstration Team 1992 to 1996. Director Performance Centers, Aspen, Colorado 1996-97.
President, Harb Ski Systems 1998 to present. Author of 3 best selling ski books 1997 (“Anyone can be an Expert Skier“) and (“Harald Harb’s Essentials of Skiing“) to present. Inventor of PMTS Direct Parallel ski teaching, Harb Carvers and Canting boot plates. .
