| Harald Harb is President of Harb Ski
Systems. Born in Austria, he moved to eastern Canada at an early age.
Harald has World Cup racing experience with the Canadian National
Ski Team, and later was the Overall Pro Champion on the Eastern Regional
Circuit. He then started to coach racers and directed racing programs.
Harald directed and coached programs that produced some of the USA's
most successful National Team members and Olympic medallists. Harald
achieved the highest credentails in both the USSA racing organization
as a Master Coach and the PSIA Professional Ski Instructors of America
as an Examiner and National Demo Team Member. After coaching for 20
years, Harald spent four years on the National Demonstration Team.
Working with recreational skiers, he was convinced that current teaching
systems needed improvement. Harald created the Primary Movements Teaching
System™ (now known as Direct Parallel®) and the Harb Skier Alignment
System™ so that skiers could learn to ski quickly and easily. |
Diana Rogers is Vice-President of Harb
Ski Systems. A former Aerospace Engineer specializing in airframe

Chris
Brown
|
Chris Brown
manages our Skier Alignment Center. Chris initially came to Harb Ski
Systems as a skier and customer. His enthusiasm for skiing, and for
skiing improvement, led him to become more and more involved with
our programs. Chris became a Green-level accredited instructor and
learned the Harb Skier Alignment System. He apprenticed with us, both
in the shop and on snow. He worked with us on a part-tme basis, and
then worked on his own as a Skier Alignment Specialist. After moving
several times, we brought Chris back to Colorado to manage our Alignment
Center. Whether your goal is comfort and control on novice slopes,
tackling the powder above Timberline, or improving your times in the
race course, Chris can help you choose the right equipment, and dial
in your movements and alignment to ski at your best. |

Rich Messer

Rich Messer is currently a full-time
coach with our PMTS ski camps and individual alignment and ski improvement
sessions. A "Personal Skiing Consultant", he is an examiner
in PMTS Direct Parallel and fully trained in the Harb Skier Alignment
System. He was the Ski School Director at Silver Creek (now Solvista),
Colorado, for two seasons, teaching PMTS Direct Parallel exclusively.
He has a long history in ski instruction as a trainer at Stratton,
Vermont, Ski School Director at Glen Ellen, Vermont, and as a PSIA-East
examiner, teaching both the traditional system and GLM (Graduated
Length Method). Rich, who had left the ski industry, came back with
the advent of shaped skis. He is one of the earliest and most enthusiastic
proponents of shaped skis, recognizing their potential for redefining
the ski learning experience. Rich's dedication to improving the
ski learning experience is to be admired, and every skier benefits
from his presentations.
