PMTS Direct Parallel® Race Camp 2011 at Arapahoe Basin, Colorado

Overview

The Race camp is designed for racers (Masters, Nastar, etc.) or aggressive skiers who want to work on technique including racing. Skiers must be comfortable on advanced terrain, but previous race experience not required. The lessons will focus on efficient technique and tactics, with sufficient practice time and personal feedback. The camp includes skiing drills and practice slalom courses. Video analysis will be used, weather permitting.

Each afternoon, weather permitting, we will have instructional sessions on Harb Carvers. Working on the Carvers helps the skiers to learn and improve their carving technique, which is key to racing. There will be separate groups for Carver novices and more experienced users. The location of the Carver lessons depends on weather and group level.
