SGS cantable boot lateral cuff dynalink chart flex forward lean ramp boots

If your boots have adjustable ramp and/or forward lean angles, or adjustable flex, how do you know which settings are right for you?

Based on research at our Harb Skier Alignment Centers, this chart provides initial settings that will work well for many skiers. It's simple to take advantage of the customization available in your boots to achieve better balance. After you've set the boots to the recommended initial setting and skied a few times, you can refine your boot settings if you desire.

Skier Height (male) Skier Height (female) Ramp Angle Forward Lean Angle Stiffness

< 5' 7"

<5' 3" Lowest Most upright Soft
5' 7" - 5' 11" 5' 3" - 5' 7" Medium Partially forward Soft or stiff
>5' 11" >5' 7" High Fully forward Stiff

Leg length adjustment: If you have proportionately long legs, move to the next taller height category. If you have proportionately short legs, move to the next shorter height category.
